J비자 분들이 의무가입해야 하는 최소 보험 커버리지
J2를 포함한 J비자분들은 미연방법에서 요구하는 보험요구조건 이상을 가입하셔야 합니다.
보통 출국일부터 시작하는 보험을 가입하며, 미연방법에서 요구하는 조건은 아래와 같습니다.
간혹, DS-2019를 발급받으실 때 아래 커버리지보다 높은 커버리지를 요구하기도 합니다.
그럴경우, 발급기관의 요청되로 상위 보험을 가입해야 합니다.

Expenses associated with the medical evacuation of the exchange visitor to his or her home country in the
amount of $10,000 and
